Evidence before publication

Long-form essays require at least two independent sources. Material factual claims are reviewed against the cited evidence before approval. Sources appear with each article so readers can inspect the argument.

Fact, inference and opinion

Reported facts, editorial inferences and judgments should remain distinguishable. Anonymous allegations, invented quotations and unsupported statistics are not acceptable.

Independence

Ferney Press is an independent editorial project. Editorial choices are not sold to vendors, platforms or sponsors. Any future financial relationship affecting a piece will be disclosed on that page.
